Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rami Kottari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Thiago Oliveira was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kottari misses with a lunging right hand
and Oliveira counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Oliveira shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


It looks like Thiago Oliveira has been cut.

Kottari closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kottari postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Oliveira in real trouble here! The ref calls for Oliveira to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rami Kottari!
An out of breath Rami Kottari thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
