The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troopa lands a right hook to the body.

Troopa smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Troopa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Koopa Troopa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Troopa connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Drake takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Troopa has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Drake closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Drake is looking for a kimura but Troopa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Drake to get the leverage.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Troopa cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Troopa loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Drake scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Troopa land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Troopa stands and salutes the crowd.

A relieved looking Koopa Troopa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
