Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Olin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phan Benjawan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benjawan has chosen It Comes and It Goes as his entrance music. Phan Benjawan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benjawan throws the kick towards the body but Olin avoids it.
Olin has a takedown stuffed.
Benjawan swinging wildly here.
Benjawan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Benjawan tries to score with a low kick but Olin moves his leg out of the way.
Sloppy strikes from Benjawan. Those never looked like landing.
Olin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Benjawan.
A slapping body kick lands there for Benjawan.
Olin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Olin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Benjawan napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Olin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Benjawan's shoulder. That is not cool.

Benjawan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Olin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Benjawan parries the strikes from Olin easily there. Olin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Benjawan to escape.

Olin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Benjawan sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Olin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Benjawan is trying to buck Olin off.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Olin remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Olin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Benjawan is looking to stand up but Olin isn't so interested in that idea.
Benjawan manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Benjawan breaks from the clinch.
Olin shoots in looking for a takedown but Benjawan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Olin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Olin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The cut man is working on Phan Benjawan's cut.
That's time! Olin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Olin dives in and grabs Benjawan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Benjawan pushes down on Olin's head and hops out.
Benjawan misses with a low kick.
Benjawan gets caught napping as Olin dives in and scores a takedown. Benjawan manages to retain guard.
Benjawan wants to sweep but no luck.
Jack Olin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Olin's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Olin looking to sit in guard and control but Benjawan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Benjawan trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Olin manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Olin stands up over Benjawan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Benjawan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've been hearing that Olin has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Olin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Benjawan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
