Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdullah Maleh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Scott!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Abdullah Maleh!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maleh tries to avoid it but Scott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maleh to the ground. Maleh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Scott shoots in but no luck this time.

Scott feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Scott drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Maleh dives on top into guard.
Scott wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Scott has hold of Maleh's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Maleh manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Scott swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Maleh is now in Scott's guard. A big mistake from Scott there, giving up the dominant position!

Maleh goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Scott tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maleh swivels and escapes.

Scott will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Scott sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

I've got Maleh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
