Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hasani Horus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hasani Horus will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Horus. Those never looked like landing.
Horus stuffs the takedown.
Nguyen is looking to clinch.
Nguyen takes the fight into the clinch.
Nguyen blocking some punches.
Nguyen blocks an uppercut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Nguyen.
Nguyen stalling against the cage.
Nguyen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Nguyen pulls guard effortlessly.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nguyen managing to control the position.
Horus wants to pass the guard but Nguyen is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rob Nguyen.
Horus swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nguyen.
It looks like Rob Nguyen has been cut.
Nguyen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Horus defends it nicely.

Horus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Nguyen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Horus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nguyen somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Nguyen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horus throws an overhand right that lands on Nguyen's shoulder, as Nguyen tries to avoid the shot.
Horus lands a nice looking body shot.
Nguyen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Horus.

and Horus counters with a stiff right hand.

Horus throws a good cross that connects.
Nguyen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Nguyen moves into range and clinches up with Horus.
Horus lands a left hand that snaps the head of Nguyen backwards.

Nguyen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Nguyen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Horus.
Nguyen slips under a jab.
Horus connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nguyen's hands.
Horus clobbers Nguyen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nguyen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Nguyen is breathing heavily.
Horus wants to sweep but no luck.
Horus looking to control but Nguyen passes into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Horus is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hasani Horus dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rob Nguyen's cut.

Horus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nguyen under the eye.
Horus throws a right and a left that Nguyen avoids nicely.
Nguyen rushes Horus and presses him up against the cage.
Horus misses with a short punch on the inside.
Horus makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Horus scores with a nice hook to the head.
Nguyen blocks a body shot from Horus.
Horus swings wildly with an uppercut but Nguyen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Horus misses with a punch on the inside.

Horus scores with a shoulder strike.
Nguyen manages to break the clinch.

Nguyen takes one on the button.
Horus connects with a body shot.
Nguyen is looking to clinch but Horus is avoiding it.
Nguyen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Horus pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Nguyen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Horus throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nguyen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Nguyen has Horus pressed against the cage.
Horus misses with a body punch.

Horus misses with a punch on the inside.

Horus scores with a shot to the side of Nguyen's head.
Horus lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
A head punch on the inside from Horus fails to land.
Nguyen jumps guard but Horus stands there with Nguyen around his waist. Nguyen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nguyen content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Horus scores with a nice short uppercut.

Nguyen tries a body shot but Horus blocks it.
Horus digs a right hand underneath Nguyen's ribcage. Nguyen let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nguyen trying to stall but Horus improves his position.
Nguyen blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Horus lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nguyen backwards.
A head punch on the inside from Horus fails to land.
Nguyen blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Nguyen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Horus misses with a short punch on the inside.
Horus lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Horus goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Horus misses with a hook from the clinch.
Horus throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nguyens head.
Horus lands with a short shot to the head.
Nguyen pulls Horus into guard.
Nguyen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Horus controls the pace.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Hasani Horus was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Nguyen closes the distance and clinches up with Horus, looking for a takedown. Nguyen pushes Horus against the cage but Horus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nguyen gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Horus gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hasani Horus!
