Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Batistuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartholomew Roach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batistuta comes to the ring accompanied by Deftones - You've Seen The Butcher. Roach is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Simpsons Theme Song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batistuta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Batistuta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like Carlos Batistuta has been cut.
Batistuta has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Batistuta feints and then cracks Roach's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Roach down.
Roach dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Batistuta. That did some damage!

Roach cracks Batistuta with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Roach thows a body kick. Batistuta tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Batistuta takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Batistuta shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Roach defends it nicely.

Roach cracks Batistuta with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Roach looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Roach backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Batistuta's temple! It sends Batistuta violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Roach celebrates and the doctors try to help Batistuta!
