Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn swinging wildly here.
A head kick misses from Severn.
Sims shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Severn pinned against the cage. Severn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sims changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Severn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Severn sneaks back into half guard.
Severn is trying to get back to full guard.
Sims trying to control the pace.
Severn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Severn is staying active underneath Sims, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Severn drops back looking for a leg! Sims is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sims manages to kick Severn off! Severn jumps back into Sims's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Severn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Sims escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Severn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Baden Severn has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Severn rushes Sims and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sims is fighting off a takedown attempt but Severn is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sims to the mat. Sims regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Severn is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sims is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sims has escaped and now he's on top!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
