Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greyjoy misses with a series of wild punches.
Finklestien clinches with his opponent.
Finklestien is pushing Greyjoy up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Greyjoy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Greyjoy is trying to force a seperation but Finklestien has the dominant position.
Greyjoy is trying to break the clinch but Finklestien is controlling him.
Greyjoy wants to stall.
Finklestien gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Finklestien has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greyjoy can do anything to dispel that myth.
Finklestien is trying to work for a kimura but Greyjoy is defending well.

Finklestien seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Finklestien uses his free foot to push down on Greyjoy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Greyjoy.
Finklestien sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Finklestien lands a big shot there that rocks Greyjoy but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Finklestien is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Greyjoy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Greyjoy shrugs it off.
Finklestien will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Poor strikes thrown by Finklestien there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Greyjoy defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Finklestien.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Greyjoy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Finklestien. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Finklestien working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Greyjoy turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Finklestien off and cradles Greyjoy's limp body as Finklestien celebrates with his corner.
