Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Logins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Idi Ota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Logins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Smashing Pumpkins - Bullets with butterfly wings. Idi Ota has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Logins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Idi Ota! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Skip Squint and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Logins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ota can do anything to dispel that myth. Ota preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ota working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Logins. Logins throws a big right hand that misses. Ota utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Logins sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ota's guard. Ota blocking the ground and pound attempt from Logins. Logins takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Logins throwing shots but Ota is blocking nicely. Logins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Logins decides to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Logins throws a series of punches but Ota avoids them all with ease. Ota is looking to clinch. Ota tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Logins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ota moves into range and connects with a jab. Ota slips a jab from Logins. Ota tries to clinch but Logins moves out of range. Logins cracks a nice hook into Ota's ribs. Ota wants to clinch. Ota darts in trying to clinch and Logins counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ota! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Logins cracks Ota with a big right hand but Ota just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Logins throwing shots but missing, from side control. The ground and pound from Logins seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Ota is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Logins is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Ota is trying to get back to his feet.

Ota wants to get back to his feet but Logins drags him back down. Logins throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Ota defending against the ground and pound. Logins scores with punches from side control. Ota is pushing Logins's head away, looking to escape. Logins manages to hold on to the position though. Logins controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Logins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ota keeps working. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Logins working the ground and pound but Ota is defending the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Logins dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Logins avoiding damage as Ota throws knees to the body.
Ota working some nice short punches in the clinch. Ota swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ota lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Ota landing knees to the body.
Ota lands a good knee to the midsection. Logins won't want to take too many of those. Ota gets through Logins's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Ota working some nice short punches in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ota scores with a hook to the body. Ota lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Logins or not. Knees to the body from Ota.
This has been an exciting period of action! Ota connects with a nasty looking knee right to Logins's face.
Logins is rocked! Ota lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Oh Logins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Clinched against the cage, Ota lands a big elbow that drops Logins! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Logins is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Idi Ota!
