Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bammy Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlando Maltravers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Orlando Maltravers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bammy Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a hook but Maltravers avoids it easily.
Maltravers closes the distance and clinches.
Davis blocks the elbow strike.
I was talking to Davis's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Davis avoids a wild elbow strike from Maltravers.
Davis jumps into guard, dragging Maltravers to the mat.
Davis controls Maltravers momentarily but Maltravers frees himself.
Davis keeping moving, preventing Maltravers from controlling successfully.
Davis is pulling down on Maltravers's head to control his posture.
Maltravers advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Maltravers's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Maltravers's back!
Davis struggling to land strikes to the head as Maltravers covers up.
Davis is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Davis gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Davis gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Davis apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Maltravers tries to clinch up
and Davis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Davis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Maltravers's head.

Davis thows a huge punch but Maltravers dodges it nicely.
Davis working Maltravers over with strikes.

Davis scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Davis not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Davis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Davis works his way into full mount!
Davis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Maltravers's face.
Davis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Maltravers manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Maltravers tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Maltravers takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Davis is working Maltravers over with some ground and pound from side control.
Davis has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Maltravers is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Davis yanks on the arm and Maltravers is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Davis.
