Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clit Johanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Johanson's half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sonnen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sonnen tries to get out of the position.

Sonnen looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Johanson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sonnen because Johanson loaded up on that one.
My spies in Montreal Elite Gym inform me that Johanson has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Johanson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Sonnen is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Johanson trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Sonnen wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Johanson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Johanson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sonnen is looking to escape.
Johanson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sonnen is now in Johanson's guard. A big mistake from Johanson there, giving up the dominant position!

Sonnen is working Johanson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Johanson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sonnen is looking to escape.

Sonnen pushes Johanson off looking to stand but Johanson dives back in and keeps control.

Sonnen is bucking up trying to escape but Johanson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Sonnen is squirming around, avoiding Johanson's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sonnen really wants to buck Johanson off and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clit Johanson dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Johanson is looking to clinch but Sonnen is avoiding it.
Sonnen lands a jab-cross combination.
Johanson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Johanson jumps into guard, dragging Sonnen to the mat.

Johanson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Sonnen frees his head nicely. Oh but Johanson has switched to an armbar! Sonnen is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
