Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kent Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiden Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kent Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aiden Silva! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva rushes Armstrong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Silva looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Armstrong lands with a right to the head. Armstrong keeps control of Silva as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Silva digs a right hand into Armstrong's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Armstrong's gas tank. Armstrong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Armstrong wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance. Armstrong tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch. Armstrong keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Silva's efforts to push away. Armstrong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Armstrong has Silva pressed against the cage, preventing Silva from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva wants the takedown. Armstrong is fighting it off but Silva persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Armstrong's guard against the cage. Silva content to stall in guard here. Silva must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. It looks like Silva might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are working up against the cage. Armstrong manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Silva tries to break free but Armstrong pushes him back against the cage. Silva tries to stall but Armstrong uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Silva ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Silva no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva looking to control.
Armstrong chips away with some ground and pound. Silva is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Silva working a defensive guard here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Aiden Silva hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Armstrong circles away.
Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Armstrong, pushing him back against the cage. Armstrong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Armstrong darts in looking for a takedown but Silva gets double underhooks and turns Armstrong into the cage. Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Armstrong has him pressed against the cage. Armstrong tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kent Armstrong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armstrong pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Aiden Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Armstrong blocks the body kick.

Silva moves into the clinch successfully.
Silva tries to circle away but Armstrong has him pinned against the cage. Silva has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Armstrong breaks from the clinch.
Silva instigates a clinch. Armstrong is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Silva to keep the fight standing. A frustrated look appears on Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva working hard to break the clinch. Silva tries to break free but Armstrong pushes him back against the cage. Silva is trying to force a seperation but Armstrong has the dominant position. Armstrong jumps into guard, dragging Silva to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva looking to sit in guard and control but Armstrong gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Armstrong is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control. Silva trying to control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Silva working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Armstrong. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva wants to sweep here but Armstrong controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aiden Silva dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Silva lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Silva. Silva keeps the fight on the outside. Armstrong has taken the fight to the clinch.
Silva tries to circle away but Armstrong has him pinned against the cage. Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kent Armstrong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Silva tests Armstrong's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Armstrong is rocked! Armstrong checks a low kick from Silva. Oh Armstrong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Silva keeps the fight on the outside. Silva stuns Armstrong with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Silva lands a huge takedown. Armstrong is out but the ref is slow to react and Silva lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Armstrong lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aiden Silva!
