The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz misses with a takedown attempt - Fucker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fucker swats away the attempt to clinch by Cruz.
Fucker slaps away a takedown attempt from Cruz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cruz shoots in looking for a takedown but Fucker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cruz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mother Fucker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Cruz.
Cruz takes a jab right on the kisser.
Cruz dives in and grabs Fucker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fucker pushes down on Cruz's head and hops out.
Cruz fails with a takedown attempt.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Cruz has eaten all the pies!
Fucker slaps away a takedown attempt from Cruz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fucker leaves Cruz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cruz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Fucker stuffs the takedown.
Cruz gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fucker.
Horrible takedown by Cruz or perhaps it was just good defense by Fucker which made him look bad.
Cruz looks winded!
Fucker tries to bum rush Cruz with a series of wild strikes but Cruz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cruz fails with a takedown attempt.
Fucker lands a jab to the nose.
Cruz takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Fucker slaps away a takedown attempt from Cruz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cruz shoots in for a double leg but Fucker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Cruz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Fucker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cruz.
Fucker scores with a head kick.
Cruz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Fucker lands a head kick. Cruz smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cruz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fucker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cruz somewhat.
Fucker takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cruz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cruz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Cruz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Cruz stops Fucker from getting back to his feet.
Cruz thows a huge punch but Fucker dodges it nicely.
Cruz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Cruz passes to full mount!
Cruz landing strikes from the mount.
Cruz fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cruz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fucker's face.

It looks like Mother Fucker has been cut.
Cruz lands a heavy elbow.

Mother Fucker's cut is getting worse.
Cruz is landing with some decent strikes but Fucker is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Mother Fucker's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Cruz postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Fucker bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Cruz and the fight is over!
