Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Corrales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Mamedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Corrales might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Party Up. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamedov plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Corrales seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Mamedov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mamedov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mamedov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Corrales tries to pull guard but Mamedov forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Corrales jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mamedov walks away with a smile on his face. Corrales gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Mamedov swings wildly with an uppercut but Corrales uses good head movement to avoid it.

Corrales is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mamedov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Corrales steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mamedov.
Mamedov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Corrales got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mamedov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Corrales has managed to get both his arms back between Mamedov's legs - danger averted.

Mamedov is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Corrales lets go of the hold and Mamedov can pop his arm back in it's socket.
