Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manvel Gamburyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes into the arena with Its a Fight blaring out of the sound system. Gamburyan has chosen Gamburyan vs. Brown on April 24th as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamburyan shoots for a takedown but Steel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Steel connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Steel swinging wildly here.
Steel looks to land a left hand but Gamburyan moved out of range nicely.
Steel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Steel lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Steel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gamburyan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Steel but Steel pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Julius Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manvel Gamburyan.
Gamburyan dodges the punch combination from Steel.
Steel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gamburyan tries to bum rush Steel with a series of wild strikes but Steel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Steel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gamburyan connects with a nice looking jab.
Steel thumps Gamburyan with a low kick.
Gamburyan has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel throws a series of punches but Gamburyan avoids them all with ease.
Steel throws a series of strikes that have Gamburyan backpedaling.
Steel lands a body shot.
Steel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Julius Steel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gamburyan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Steel's waist but Steel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gamburyan off to one side.
Gamburyan is trying desperately to land a takedown but Steel is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Gamburyan.
Steel misses with a series of wild punches.
Steel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gamburyan's head backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A head kick lands from Steel that sends Gamburyan to the canvas. Gamburyan tries to scramble back to his feet but Steel brings him back down into side control.
Gamburyan is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steel looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gamburyan is still in real trouble! Can Steel finish him?
Gamburyan is trying to control Steel's posture but Steel avoids it.
Steel stands up and we're back to a striking position.
BOOM! Steel lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gamburyan. Gamburyan tries to recover but Steel is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gamburyan lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Julius Steel!
