Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Stiglitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Destin Craven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stiglitz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Street Gang. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Destin Craven! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Craven throws a front kick that sends Stiglitz stumbling back into the cage. Stiglitz tries for a takedown but Craven circles away easily and Craven counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Stiglitz is lucky that one didn't land flush. Craven throws a head kick that misses. Craven thows a body kick. Stiglitz tries to catch it but that hurt him. Craven throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Craven scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Craven lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Craven throws a head kick that misses. Stiglitz clinches up against the cage. I was talking to Stiglitz's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Craven escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stiglitz closes the distance and clinches. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Craven breaks from the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Craven. Stiglitz does a little dance to reset his feet. Destin Craven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stiglitz has closed the distance and engaged Craven in a clinch.

Craven closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Stiglitz pulls Craven into guard.
Craven tries to free his leg and advance position but Stiglitz is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Craven works a leg free and moves into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Craven content to control rather than advance. Stiglitz is looking for a sweep. Craven is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Craven seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Let's hope that Craven has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Stiglitz looking for submissions off his back.

Craven looking to sit in guard and control but Stiglitz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stiglitz preventing the sweep. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stiglitz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Stiglitz passes Craven's right leg, so he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stiglitz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stiglitz showed some decent athleticism there. Stiglitz is working for a kimura but Craven is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Craven regains half guard. Stiglitz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Craven avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stiglitz. Craven is trying to maintain the position but Stiglitz is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Craven is trying to get back to full guard. Craven looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Destin Craven hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Craven instigates a clinch. Craven manages to break the clinch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Craven, right into the meat.
Horrible takedown by Stiglitz or perhaps it was just good defense by Craven which made him look bad.

Craven throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stiglitz was covering up waiting for the punch and Craven finishes the takedown easily into guard. Craven wants to control from the top but Stiglitz keeps moving. Stiglitz is trying to control the position from the bottom.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stiglitz defends it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Destin Craven showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Craven pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stiglitz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Craven. Stiglitz shoots in but no luck this time. Craven throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stiglitz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Craven tries to avoid it but Stiglitz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Craven to the ground. Craven escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Stiglitz shoots in and drives through. Craven sprawls well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Craven scores with a head kick.
Stiglitz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Craven sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Craven closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stiglitz to the mat! Stiglitz manages to get full guard. Craven engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Stiglitz looking for a guillotine here but Craven defends easily.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Destin Craven. Stiglitz takes the fight into the clinch. Craven breaks from the clinch.
Stiglitz misses with a takedown attempt - Craven sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Craven throws a head kick that half lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stiglitz takes a kick to the side of the head. Stiglitz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Craven. Craven lands a head kick. Stiglitz smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Stiglitz is rocked! Stiglitz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Oh Stiglitz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stiglitz has closed the distance and engaged Craven in a clinch.
Stiglitz goes for a takedown attempt but Craven pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jab, jab by Craven - just one landing. Craven stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Craven wants it to stay on the feet. Stiglitz avoids the head kick by Craven.
Craven fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stiglitz sprawls well initially but Craven persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Craven is looking to take a break and control but Stiglitz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stiglitz won't allow Craven to pass to mount. Craven is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Craven is keen to just control but Stiglitz is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Craven throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Destin Craven is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Stiglitz seems to have got his legs back now. Craven is figuring out what he wants to do next. Craven passes to side control. Craven laying and praying for a moment but Stiglitz takes advantage and regains half guard. Craven controlling the action here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stiglitz is looking to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Destin Craven comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Craven winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
