16 - 38 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, All or Nothing! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Naymov dives in and scores a takedown into Nothing's guard.
Nothing is rocked! Naymov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Nothing is still in real trouble! Can Naymov finish him? Naymov wants to control from the top but Nothing keeps moving. Nothing pulls Naymov in to control the position. Naymov postures up in Nothing's guard and throws a big left but Nothing blocks it. Naymov throws an elbow that misses. Nothing uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Naymov's guard. Nice move by Nothing! Nothing wants to pass the guard but Naymov is keeping the position. Nothing is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nothing pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Naymov is keeping the position for now. Nothing prevents Naymov from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nothing sitting in guard here, content to control. Nothing must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref stands the fighters back up. All or Nothing was stalling too much, according to the referee. Naymov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nothing on his heels. He'll look to pass Nothing's guard now, I'm sure. Nothing controlling the position. Nothing working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Naymov. Naymov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nothing tries to sprawl but Naymov drives through with a takedown into half guard. Nothing tries to roll over but Naymov keeps him under control. Nothing is still trying to improve position. Naymov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nothing is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Naymov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Naymov's back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nothing really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Naymov. I really don't envy Naymov right now.
Nothing controlling from the back. Nothing is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Naymov is trying to stand back up. Nothing keeps control of the position easily here as Naymov tries to buck him off.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Naymov is trying to get back to his feet but Nothing has full control of the position and if anything, Naymov has just worked his way into a worse spot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nothing stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Naymov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Naymov being controlled here, momentarily. Naymov won't allow Nothing to pass to mount. Well, if Nothing is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Naymov tries to roll over but Nothing keeps him under control.

Naymov is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Naymov tries to kick Nothing off but Nothing keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Nothing not doing much here.
Vladimir Naymov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Vladimir Naymov. Naymov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nothing to the ground. Naymov is now in Nothing's guard.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Naymov. Nothing tries to buck Naymov off but Naymov is having none of it. Nothing is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Naymov off and has taken his back! Naymov trying to get back to his feet but Nothing is in full control for now. Naymov is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Nothing.

That's one minute gone in the round. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Nothing is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Naymov knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Naymov for a finish. You can see the frustration on Naymov's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
