Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kai Kasem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shadojen Selnai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shadojen Selnai looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kai Kasem! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shadojen Selnai! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kasem misses with a head kick.
Kasem throws a right and a left that both miss. The fight stays on the outside here - Kasem looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kasem shoots for a double leg takedown but Selnai sprawls well. He's pushed Kasem's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kasem drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Selnai gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kasem has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Selnai avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kai Kasem. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kasem goes for a takedown in the clinch but Selnai prevents it.
Selnai can't break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Selnai prevents a takedown attempt there.
Selnai is trying to break the clinch but Kasem has him pressed against the cage. Kasem tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Selnai pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kasem shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kasem was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kasem scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kasem misses with a head shot. Kasem connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kasem thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The referee warns Selnai that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kasem throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Selnai because Kasem loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kasem lands a big elbow. Kasem has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Selnai holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kasem tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kasem misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kasem postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Selnai in real trouble here! The ref calls for Selnai to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kai Kasem!
