The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powders shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Baskerville defends it nicely.
Powders dives in for a single leg takedown but Baskerville sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Powders goes for a takedown attempt but Baskerville pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Powders. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baskerville fails with the takedown.
Powders shoots for a double leg takedown but Baskerville sprawls well. He's pushed Powders's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Baskerville throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Powders's waist but Powders gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baskerville off to one side.

Powders seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Baskerville is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Will Powders really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Alpha Male logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
