Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osanti Herod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacen Fields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herod kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Down With The King. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herod tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fields paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Herod throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fields shoots in looking for a takedown. Herod tries to sprawl out of it but Fields keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Herod manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fields feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Herod here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Herod gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Herod apologises and we restart here on the feet.
