The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russian misses with a takedown
and Tortoise counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Russian looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tortoise must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Russian throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Tortoise has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at GTI. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Dumski Russian just wasn't active enough.
The crowd cheers as Tortoise lands an impressive looking overhand right. Russian doesn't seem phased though.

Russian takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Russian goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Thomas Tortoise is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Russian tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tortoise paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Russian really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tortoise throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Russian shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tortoise pinned against the cage. Tortoise gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Russian takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Russian steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tortoise.
Russian thows a body shot but no joy.
Russian has a takedown stuffed.

Russian is breathing heavily.
Tortoise throws a front kick aimed at Russian's knee but Russian avoids it well.
Thomas Tortoise seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Russian throws a head kick that Tortoise semi-blocks.

It looks like Dumski Russian has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Russian uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tortoise.
Russian slips a jab from Tortoise.
Tortoise lunges at Russian with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Russian's hand.

Russian will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tortoise sends Russian crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Tortoise is motioning to the referee to let Russian up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Russian is rocked!
Russian circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Tortoise. Russian falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Tortoise!
