Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Damage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodgers kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Whiskey in the jar . There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Rodgers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Damage! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damage throws a chopping leg kick but Rodgers manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Damage takes a kick to the side of the head. Damage shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Damage is taking a breather. Rodgers says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Rodgers is defending against the submission attempts here by Damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Damage keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Rodgers trying to control from the bottom.
Damage throwing shots but Rodgers is blocking nicely. Damage seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Mike Damage hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Rodgers plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodgers throws a leg kick but Damage checks it. Rodgers throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Rodgers goes for a high kick. It partially lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Damage moves into the clinch. Damage's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rodgers throws a nice outside leg kick. Marcus Rodgers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rodgers throws a body punch but Damage moves out of range. Rodgers scores with a kick to the body.
Rodgers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Damage walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rodgers checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Damage is defended easily by Rodgers. Damage looks to land a body kick but Rodgers moved away. A solid leg kick lands there for Rodgers.
Damage looks winded! A head kick from Rodgers lands but Damage takes it in his stride.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Damage stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rodgers. Rodgers lands with a thumping leg kick.
Damage tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Damage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rodgers.
Damage on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Damage on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Rodgers thumps Damage with a low kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Rodgers lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Rodgers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Damage has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. An inside leg kick lands from Rodgers. Damage takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Damage takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Rodgers chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Rodgers is looking to slow Damage down with leg kicks. Rodgers lands with a kick to the temple. Damage shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's four minutes gone in the round. Damage on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Rodgers with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rodgers cracks the inside of Damage's front leg. Rodgers lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A nice leg kick lands there from Rodgers. Rodgers dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Damage. That did some damage! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rodgers, right into the meat.
Damage takes one to the chin there. Rodgers connects with a high kick. Rodgers lands a high kick!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rodgers. Damage shrugs it off though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rodgers connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Damage to the floor! Rodgers dives in looking for the finish!
Damage is rocked! Rodgers tries to stand and escape but Damage is controlling the position. Damage wants to improve his position but Rodgers is controlling well.
It looks like Rodgers is going to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Rodgers dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rodgers connects with a high kick. Rodgers buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Damage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rodgers.
Damage throws a head kick but Rodgers moves out of range.
Damage shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Damage is thwarting Rodgers's attempts to control the position. Rodgers manages to get to full guard.
Damage is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Damage tries to free his leg and advance position but Rodgers is retaining full guard. Rodgers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Damage looking to sit in guard and control but Rodgers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rodgers is looking to stand up but Damage won't let him. Damage working for a triangle but Rodgers defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodgers is looking to stand up but Damage won't let him. Damage is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rodgers defends well. Damage working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodgers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rodgers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodgers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Rodgers trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Damage is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rodgers is aware though and is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodgers wants to stand but Damage has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rodgers is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Damage can do to turn this around? Rodgers stopping the sweep attempt from Damage. Rodgers wants to stand but Damage has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Marcus Rodgers dominated that second round. That's time! Rodgers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Rodgers wanted to stand there but Damage had control of the position. Damage looking for a sweep. Not yet Damage, not yet. Rodgers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Damage takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodgers wants to stand and escape but instead Damage has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Rodgers not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Marcus Rodgers wasn't doing enough on the ground. Rodgers throws a head kick that half lands.
Rodgers throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Damage's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rodgers scores with a head kick. Damage tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Rodgers finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Damage scores with a takedown into Rodgers's guard. Damage pushing down on Rodgers's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Damage stalling. Damage's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodgers tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Damage has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Rodgers is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rodgers is working hard here to advance position. Damage throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Damage controlling from mount. Rodgers is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcus Rodgers showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rodgers, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Marcus Rodgers wins by unanimous decision! Marcus Rodgers tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
