The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rusev connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. The fight stays on the outside here - Rusev looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Al Bundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Rusev. Bundy does a little dance to reset his feet. Rusev tried to score with a low kick but Bundy checks it. Bundy lands a right and a left and another right! Rusev goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Al Bundy! After winning the bout, Al Bundy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
