Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Bruny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Place Holder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome Bruny!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Place Holder!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruny misses the shot to the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bruny checks a leg kick.

Holder gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bruny to score an easy takedown into full guard.

and Bruny counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Holder misses with a low kick.
Holder looks for the body kick but Bruny saw that one coming.
Holder scores with a nice body kick.
Bruny jabs Holder to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bruny throws the left hand but Holder avoids the punch easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bruny tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bruny has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bruny is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Holder's shoulder. That is not cool.

Bruny has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Holder is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bruny yanks on the arm and Holder is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bruny.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jerome Bruny!
A relieved looking Jerome Bruny thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
