Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between WareDa Beef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hugh Jordan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan fails to land with a series of punches.
Jordan misses with a series of wild punches.

Beef moves into the clinch.

Beef jumps guard and drags Jordan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Beef is working an open guard so Jordan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Jordan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Beef!
Beef wants to get back to his feet.
Jordan trying to control the action but Beef is working from the bottom.
Jordan controls the position.
Beef controls the position for a moment.

Jordan tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Beef tries to bench press Jordan off him but Jordan keeps the position.
Beef throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Beef tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jordan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Beef pushes Jordan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jordan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Jordan wants to control but Beef is keeping him busy.
You can see the frustration on Beef's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Beef tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Jordan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beef keeps working.

Beef has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jordan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Beef.
Jordan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Jordan clinches up with Beef and pushes him back against the cage.

Beef escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Beef shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Beef stops Jordan from getting back to his feet.

Jordan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Beef's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Beef's back!
Beef prevents Jordan from getting a body triangle.
Beef breaks Jordan's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Jordan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Beef decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jordan, up you get!
A telegraphed right hand from Beef misses the target.
Beef tries to clinch but Jordan moves out of range.
Beef looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jordan is fending him off so far but Beef persists. Nope, Jordan circles away and we're back to standing.

Beef shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jordan napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jordan tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Beef is looking to control Jordan but Jordan is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Beef has the hooks in. Jordan is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Beef is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jordan defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Beef is riding his opponent, not letting Jordan buck him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jordan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jordan throws a head kick but Beef moves out of range.
Hugh Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jordan takes the fight into the clinch.

Jordan manages to break the clinch.
