Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boom Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ham Xu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Xu shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Xu was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

It looks like Boom Pow has been cut.
Pow is working to get back to half guard.
Xu with a couple of short strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pow on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Pow is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Xu scores with a couple of nice shots.

Boom Pow's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Pow is trying to get back to full guard.

Xu winds up and cracks Pow with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Xu content to control rather than advance.
Let's hope that Xu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Xu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pow with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Xu wants to take a breather but Pow is having none of it.

Xu postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Pow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Xu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jeez, Boom Pow's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Boom Pow's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
