Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Przemos Dipps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brad Shaw was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Przemos Dipps! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brad Shaw! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Dipps with that takedown attempt. Shaw dives in and scores a takedown into Dipps's guard. Dipps could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Shaw trying to control the position from guard on top but Dipps is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shaw tries to free his leg and advance position but Dipps is retaining full guard. Dipps wants to sweep but no luck. Shaw working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dipps's head. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Shaw working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Shaw is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Shaw wants to pass the guard but Dipps is keeping the position. Shaw advances position into side control! Shaw controls the position from side control. Dipps taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dipps manages to work his way to half guard, despite Shaw's best efforts. Shaw landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Shaw passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dipps! Shaw lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Shaw lands a couple of good shots and Dipps has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Shaw keeps control of the position as Dipps tries to break free.
Shaw working for a choke but Dipps is defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dipps turns into Shaw and is now in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dipps stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shaw swivels though and keeps the full guard. Shaw manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaw wants to control the pace but Dipps is squirming around nicely. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Shaw raining down hammerfists from mount. Shaw is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dipps is surviving well by controlling Shaw's body position as best he can. Shaw looking to control and managing it successfully. Dipps can't escape the position.
Shaw looking to finish Dipps with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dipps! Dipps takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Shaw can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dipps is looking to escape. Shaw in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw lands a nice shot to the head. Shaw landing punches. Dipps gets back to half guard. Shaw is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Shaw tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dipps knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Shaw trying to control the pace. Shaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dipps keeps working. Dipps is trying to maintain the position but Shaw is very close to passing his half guard. Shaw is trying to control. Dipps wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaw lands with a punch from half guard. Dipps is looking to improve his position.
Shaw is taking a breather. Dipps says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Shaw passes the guard and advances to mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dipps bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Dipps is looking to advance position but Shaw has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Shaw connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Shaw can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dipps is looking to escape. Shaw fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brad Shaw dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Dipps gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Shaw to score an easy takedown into full guard. Shaw wants to control from the top but Dipps keeps moving. Shaw won't allow Dipps to sweep him here. Dipps keeping full guard, as Shaw tries to pass. Shaw is pushing down on Dipps's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dipps is fighting to maintain full guard but Shaw has managed to sneak the leg through. Dipps wants to get back to full guard. Shaw is trying to control. Dipps wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dipps wants to control but Shaw is keeping busy and won't allow it. Shaw has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Shaw is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dipps has managed to free his arm - good work. Dipps is trying to control but can't.
Dipps tries to get to full guard but Shaw has control of the leg. Brad Shaw has got the better of the ground game so far. Shaw looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dipps could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Shaw has cracked it and Dipps is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Shaw!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Brad Shaw! Brad Shaw decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
