Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jonathan Hawkes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hawkes drops Johnson with a left and a right! Oh, Johnson is hurt - Hawkes dives into side control looking to finish!
Johnson is rocked!
It looks like David Johnson has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson is not content to let Hawkes control the position.
Hawkes postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hawkes misses with the ground and pound.

Hawkes tries to move into full mount but can't pass Johnson's legs.
Hawkes trying to control the action but Johnson is working from the bottom.
Hawkes in side control, throwing shots but Johnson defends.
Hawkes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.
Hawkes with the ground and pound but Johnson regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Hawkes working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Hawkes moves into full mount! Johnson won't be happy about that!

Hawkes fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Hawkes sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Hawkes connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Johnson is still in real trouble! Can Hawkes finish him?
Johnson is bucking up trying to escape but Hawkes cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Hawkes! Johnson is hurt baaadly! Hawkes is firing away with more strikes - Johnson is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
