Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Itor Lamope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Trager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamope comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Souljah. Trager has chosen Run This Town as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trager cracks the inside of Lamope's front leg.
A thudding body kick lands there by Lamope!
Trager cracks a nice hook into Lamope's ribs.
Trager displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lamope throws out the jab.
Lamope throws the left hand but Trager avoids the punch easily.

Trager is trying to drag Lamope to the mat but Lamope just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Lamope tries to throw a body punch but Trager avoids it by throwing Lamope back against the cage.
Lamope swings wildly with an uppercut but Trager uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've been hearing good reports from Lamope's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round but I would say that Itor Lamope will probably get the nod.

Lamope lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
