The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hauor thuds a left hand into Patton's body.
Hauor digs a good hook to Patton's body.
Hauor connects with a body shot that sends Patton's belly button to the back.
Patton avoids a kick to the body.
Patton throws a chopping leg kick but Hauor manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hauor tests Patton's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Patton will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Patton tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Patton moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hauor, as that shot connected.
Rolf Hauor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hauor. Patton shrugs it off though.
Patton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Patton tries to clinch but Hauor moves out of range.
Patton takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Hauor darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Hauor is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Patton had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Patton takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hauor thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Patton if he has to take too many more of those.

Patton takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hauor buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Patton takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hauor throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Patton colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Hauor as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Patton is left battered and dazed whilst Hauor and his camp cheer!
