Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Crasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bruno Silva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Crasher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Silva! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Chris Dean and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crasher drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.
Crasher slows down the pace here.
Crasher manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Silva won't allow Crasher to sweep him here. Silva slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Crasher is trying to keep Silva in close.
We've been hearing good reports from Crasher's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Silva looking to pass the guard. Silva prevents Crasher from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Crasher regains half guard. Silva is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Silva wants to free his trapped foot but Crasher is holding on for dear life with his legs. Silva is trying to control. Crasher wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Silva is looking to take a break and control but Crasher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Crasher trying to control but Silva postures up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bruno Silva hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Crasher throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Crasher off to one side. The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Crasher throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.

Crasher has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Silva uses from the top position. Crasher wants to stand up but Silva is controlling him. Silva is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Crasher is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Crasher has escaped and now he's on top! Silva is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Crasher works over Silva with some ground and pound from guard. Crasher trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crasher controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Johnny Crasher just wasn't active enough. Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Crasher to the mat! Crasher manages to get full guard. Silva looks winded! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silva with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bruno Silva will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Silva is looking to take a break and control but Crasher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Silva is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Crasher sees it coming and defends easily. Silva is working for a submission of some sort.

That's one minute gone in the round. Silva missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Silva wants to pass to mount but Crasher is defending the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crasher actively working from the bottom here. Crasher is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Silva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Crasher circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silva fails with the takedown. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crasher paws at him with a jab and circles away. Silva is looking to clinch. Crasher shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Silva swinging wildly here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva dives in for a single leg takedown but Crasher sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Crasher jumps guard and drags Silva to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Crasher is retaining full guard. Crasher tries to strike from the bottom.
Silva wants to get up but he can't break Crasher's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Silva throwing strikes but missing. Crasher pushes Silva off and scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crasher looks for a takedown but Silva sprawls well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruno Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Silva wants to stand up but Crasher is controlling him. Crasher is in close to Silva's body, working some short punches and elbows. Silva takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Crasher is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Crasher has managed to sneak the leg through. Silva wants to control but Crasher is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Crasher scoring with strikes to the body and head. Crasher is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Silva flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Silva actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crasher seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Crasher scores with a couple of nice shots. Crasher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working. Crasher with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Crasher has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Crasher tries to pass to full mount but Silva defends it.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Johnny Crasher just wasn't active enough. Crasher lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! Crasher takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Silva is rocked!
It looks like Bruno Silva has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva looks to clinch and Crasher counters with a hugh head kick that removes Silva from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
