Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Beton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Beton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Daley! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beton goes for a double leg but Daley avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Daley continues to drive forward. Beton is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Daley to keep the fight standing. Beton jumps guard but Daley stands there with Beton around his waist. Beton gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Beton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beton tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Daley smiles and moves away.
Daley lunges at Beton with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Beton's hand. Daley lands with a hook. Beton tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A looping hook to the body misses from Daley. Beton does a little dance to reset his feet. Beton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Daley.
No luck for Beton with that takedown attempt. Daley misses with a hook to the body
and Beton counters with a series of strikes. Daley will be more careful next time no doubt. Daley jabs at Beton's body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Daley throws a right hand that Beton ducks under and follows up with a left that Beton also avoids with ease. Daley misses with a shot to the body and Beton counters with a crisp one two that drops Daley! Beton thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Daley to his feet! Daley is in big trouble!
Daley is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Good exchange - Daley coming out on top. Daley is still on wobbly legs! Can Beton finish him? Beton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Daley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Daley drops his hands for a split second and Beton immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Daley face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Beton follows up with a right hand that knocks Daley into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John Beton!
