Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gawon Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robaro Myamoto! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myamoto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Myamoto rushes Kim and presses him up against the cage. Myamoto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Myamoto fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Myamoto is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Myamoto fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kim throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Myamoto. Kim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Myamoto fails to pull guard.
Gawon Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robaro Myamoto. Myamoto successfully pulls guard.
Kim passes Myamoto's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Myamoto is trying to stand back up but Kim is controlling him
Kim is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Myamoto is just riding it out for now. Kim eventually gives up the hold. Myamoto on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Myamoto wants to control but Kim is keeping busy.

Kim is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kim is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Myamoto is just riding it out for now. Kim eventually gives up the hold. Myamoto is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kim is working for a kimura but Myamoto is defending it quite comfortably.
Myamoto tries to kick Kim off but Kim keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Myamoto looks gassed! Kim throwing shots but Myamoto is blocking nicely. Kim is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kim prevents Myamoto from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim is tying to control. Myamoto wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kim seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Myamoto is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
