Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders drops his hands momentarily and Mayweather takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mayweather dives in and grabs Sanders's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sanders pushes down on Mayweather's head and hops out.

Sanders is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mayweather closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sanders's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sanders wants to stand and escape but Mayweather is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanders can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mayweather shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sanders pinned against the cage. Sanders gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A head kick from Sanders lands but Mayweather takes it in his stride.

Luke Sanders dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mayweather on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mayweather shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sanders but Sanders pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sanders scores with a head kick. Mayweather tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Oh Mayweather is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mayweather fails with a takedown attempt.
Sanders fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mayweather has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sanders! Mayweather is out on his feet! Sanders rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Mayweather is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Mayweather is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luke Sanders!
