The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delacruz tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Wassef counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Delacruz is looking to clinch but Wassef is avoiding it.
Wassef shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Delacruz is rocked!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Wassef takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Oh Delacruz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wassef working over Delacruz with some ground and pound. Delacruz looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Wassef escapes and gets back to his feet.

In his post fight interview, Oliver Wassef started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
