PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ser Gregor Clegane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rysty Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sankari has chosen 2Pac - Just Like Daddy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ser Gregor Clegane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rysty Sankari!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sankari bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Clegane misses with an attempted mid kick.
Clegane buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Clegane takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sankari tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Clegane is able to avoid easily.

Sankari clips Clegane with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Clegane a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.


It looks like Ser Gregor Clegane has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sankari takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Clegane. Sankari does a little dance to reset his feet.
Clegane looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Clegane moves out of range of the body kick.
Clegane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sankari moves away.
Sankari is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sankari takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Clegane closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sankari checks the leg kick.

Clegane ducks into a a hook from Sankari and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!

Sankari catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Clegane stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Clegane walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!


Clegane is rocked!
Clegane throws a nice head kick!
Oh Clegane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clegane avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Clegane seems to have got his legs back now.
Clegane misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sankari.
Sankari avoids the head kick by Clegane.
Sankari dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Clegane. That did some damage!
Sankari's coach down at Soul Supremacy - UK was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sankari's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Sankari scores with a hook to the body. Clegane takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sankari misses with a low kick.
Sankari ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clegane moves away.
Clegane feints and then cracks Sankari's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sankari down.
Sankari throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clegane moves out of range of the leg kick from Sankari.
Sankari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Clegane tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Clegane looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Clegane misses with an attempted mid kick.
Clegane tries to clinch there but Sankari circles away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sankari connects with a solid leg kick.
Sankari ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clegane moves away.
Clegane goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clegane chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sankari throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clegane lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Clegane checks a leg kick nicely.
Good work by Clegane as he checks the leg kick.
Clegane looks for the body kick but Sankari saw that one coming.
Sankari lands with a shot to the body.
Sankari throws a low kick but it's checked well by Clegane.
Clegane tries a head kick but it misses.
Clegane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sankari moves away.
Clegane takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sankari crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Clegane - the referee stops the clock and Sankari gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Clegane. Sankari manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ser Gregor Clegane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Clegane on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sankari thumps Clegane with a low kick.
Clegane throws a wild body kick that Sankari sees coming a mile off.
A head kick by Clegane misses
and Sankari counters with a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rysty Sankari will get the nod in that round, having scored multiple knockdowns.
The cut man is working on Ser Gregor Clegane's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Sankari staggers Clegane with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Clegane looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sankari ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sankari cracks the inside of Clegane's front leg.
Sankari scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sankari with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sankari throws a body kick that misses.
Sankari tries a head kick but it misses.
Sankari scores with the left hand. Clegane knows he should have avoided that one.
Clegane tries to clinch up but Sankari circles away and keeps his distance.
A head kick by Clegane misses
and Sankari counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sankari connects with the punch.
Clegane moves forwards but Sankari connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sankari stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Clegane.
Clegane doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Clegane misses the shot to the body.
Clegane takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sankari digs a good body shot into Clegane's ribs.

Sankari fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sankari feints and then cracks Clegane's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Clegane down.
Nice body kick there by Sankari.
Clegane chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sankari can pounce on him.
Sankari lands a nice leg kick that just misses Clegane's sensitive parts.
Sankari cracks a nice hook into Clegane's ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sankari scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sankari. That's going to slow Clegane down.
Sankari connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Clegane walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Sankari rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Clegane has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.
Sankari lands with a good body shot.
Clegane is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Clegane steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sankari. That one must have hurt.
Clegane walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Clegane is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Rysty Sankari!
