The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herd will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Beck counters by moving into the clinch.

Herd ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Beck is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Beck is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Herd is fighting to break Beck's control of his arms but Beck is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Herd is sitting in close to Beck's body. Beck has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Herd is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Herd is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Beck.
