Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes into the arena with PELIMUSA blaring out of the sound system. Lincoln is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Get Up!. Jose Sanchez has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lincoln tries to clinch but Sanchez is having none of it.
A head kick misses from Sanchez.
Sanchez closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Paul Lincoln has been cut.
Lincoln tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sanchez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice body kick from Sanchez.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sanchez. That's going to slow Lincoln down.
Sanchez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Sanchez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sanchez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sanchez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lincoln manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sanchez seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Sanchez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lincoln wants to hold on but Sanchez pushes him away.
Lincoln really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
