Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Roughshod tries to break free but Rodriguez pushes him back against the cage.
Roughshod looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Roughshod has Rodriguez up against the cage in a clinch.
Roughshod tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rodriguez's elbow.

Rodriguez is pressed up against the cage. Roughshod has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rodriguez down to the mat. Rodriguez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Rodriguez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roughshod moves to clinch but Rodriguez breaks away
and Rodriguez counters with a good, hard body kick but Roughshod shrugs it off.
Roughshod closes the distance and clinches up with Rodriguez, looking for a takedown. Roughshod pushes Rodriguez against the cage but Rodriguez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Roughshod goes for a double leg but Rodriguez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rodriguez continues to drive forward.
Sean Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tiimir Roughshod.
Roughshod wants to break the clinch but can't.
Roughshod pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Roughshod motions for Rodriguez to come forward. Roughshod throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Roughshod doesn't manage to clinch there - Rodriguez circles away.
Rodriguez looks for a takedown but Roughshod sprawls well.
Rodriguez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Rodriguez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rodriguez lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Sean Rodriguez will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Roughshod tries to clinch there but Rodriguez circles away.
Roughshod lands a front kick.
Rodriguez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Roughshod tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rodriguez is in Roughshod's guard.
Rodriguez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Roughshod wants to clinch up but Rodriguez keeps it at a distance.
Rodriguez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Roughshod shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rodriguez counters with a left and a right that stings Roughshod.
Roughshod shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Roughshod showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like Roughshod is going to stand back up.
Roughshod is just content to waste time from the top position. Rodriguez takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Roughshod would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Rodriguez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Roughshod wants to control from the top but Rodriguez keeps moving.
Rodriguez can't keep his opponent in guard - Roughshod advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Roughshod darts in looking for a takedown but Rodriguez gets double underhooks and turns Roughshod into the cage.
Roughshod drags the fight down to the ground.
Rodriguez wants to get up but he can't break Roughshod's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Roughshod not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Roughshod tries to clinch
and Rodriguez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Roughshod thinking.
Rodriguez shoots in looking for a takedown. Roughshod tries to sprawl out of it but Rodriguez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roughshod manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tiimir Roughshod showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Rodriguez is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

You can see the frustration on Roughshod's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Roughshod parries the strikes from Rodriguez easily there. Rodriguez is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Roughshod to escape.

Roughshod bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Rodriguez has a closed guard, preventing Roughshod from standing up.

Tiimir Roughshod comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Roughshod has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
