Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franco Colombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Stubb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stubb has chosen Paper Scratcher as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 35 - 0, fighting out of New York, Franco Colombo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Stubb! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stubb has closed the distance and engaged Colombo in a clinch.
Stubb fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Stubb turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Stubb manages to end up in side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Stubb is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Colombo has escaped the position, nice work there. Stubb is looking to take a break and control but Colombo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stubb is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Colombo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Stubb is trying to get an arm triangle but Colombo is defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stubb tries to move into full mount but can't pass Colombo's legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stubb thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Colombo is trying to get back to half guard. A lull in the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stubb is trying to get an arm triangle but Colombo is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stubb has knee on belly and moves into mount. Stubb working for a guillotine from mount but Colombo is in no mood to give up. Colombo tries to improve his position but instead Stubb has taken his back! Stubb looking to break Colombo's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Colombo remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Stubb will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Colombo is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Stubb is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Colombo is defending well though. Stubb let's go of the attempt for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colombo fending off the submission attempt from Stubb. Stubb looking to break Colombo's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Colombo remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Stubb will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Stubb gets his hands free as Colombo looks to control. Colombo is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Colombo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stubb on the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Stubb sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Colombo taps out!
