Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Sajdak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sajdak might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thrift Shop. Dawson has chosen m.A.A.d city as his entrance music. Ryan Dawson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Sajdak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Dawson! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Sajdak does no damage. Dawson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sajdak defends well and Dawson ends up having to push Sajdak into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Sajdak has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Sajdak prevents a takedown attempt there.
Sajdak tries to break the clinch but Dawson is controlling the position. Dawson jumps guard but Sajdak stands there with Dawson around his waist. Dawson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sajdak has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Dawson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Sajdak to keep the fight standing. Sajdak has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dawson after a bit of a struggle. Dawson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Sajdak is looking to regain half guard here but Dawson keeps moving and retains side control. Dawson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sajdak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dawson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sajdak keeps working. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sajdak can't do much from the bottom here. Dawson wants to take a breather but Sajdak manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Dawson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sajdak throws a leg kick but Dawson moved away. Sajdak dives in and grabs Dawson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dawson pushes down on Sajdak's head and hops out. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dawson. Sajdak scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Dawson doesn't manage to clinch there - Sajdak circles away.
A right-left combo lands from Sajdak. Dawson shoots in looking for a takedown but Sajdak manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dawson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sajdak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dawson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sajdak tries to avoid it but Dawson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sajdak to the ground. Sajdak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dawson avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dawson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dawson landing strikes. Dawson moves into full mount! Dawson wants to control the pace but Sajdak is squirming around nicely. Dawson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Dawson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sajdak is surviving well by controlling Dawson's body position as best he can. Sajdak taking shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dawson controlling the position easily from mount. Dawson raining down hammerfists from mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dawson punishing his opponent with strikes. Dawson wants to control the pace but Sajdak is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dawson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dawson with shots to the head and body - Sajdak looks very uncomfortable down there. Sajdak is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Sajdak is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sajdak is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sajdak is working hard here to advance position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Dawson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Sajdak's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dawson can do anything to dispel that myth. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dawson is squirming around, avoiding Sajdak's attempts to control the action. Dawson regains half guard. Sajdak slows the pace down in half guard. Sajdak seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dawson pushes Sajdak off looking to stand but Sajdak dives back in and keeps control.
Dawson is looking for a sweep. Sajdak is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dawson trying to hold on to Sajdak's head to control him but Sajdak postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sajdak tries to clinch there but Dawson circles away.
Dawson shoots in but Sajdak avoids the takedown attempt easily. Dawson with a jab. Dawson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Sajdak! Dawson trying to control the position but Sajdak is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sajdak tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Sajdak bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Dawson controlling Sajdak's posture.

And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Dawson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Dawson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
