Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Julian Eduardo Demaestri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Josh Lebow!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lebow misses with a head kick.
Lebow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Demaestri tries for a takedown but Lebow sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lebow doesn't manage to clinch there - Demaestri circles away.
Lebow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Julian Eduardo Demaestri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lebow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Demaestri.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julian Eduardo Demaestri. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A chopping leg kick lands by Lebow.
Demaestri darts in looking for a takedown but Lebow gets double underhooks and turns Demaestri into the cage.
Demaestri jumps guard but Lebow turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Demaestri tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lebow smiles and moves away.
Demaestri seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Demaestri gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lebow counters with a head kick.
Demaestri looks for a takedown but Lebow sprawls well.

Lebow has taken the fight to the clinch.
Demaestri is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Demaestri has Lebow pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lebow manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Demaestri is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lebow pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Demaestri goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lebow prevents it.
Demaestri is breathing heavily.
Lebow throws an elbow that misses.
Demaestri is trying to drag Lebow to the mat but Lebow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Lebow just misses with a elbow thrown towards Demaestri's brow.
Demaestri tries for a takedown. No joy.
Demaestri tries to pull guard but Lebow won't allow it.
Lebow lands a damaging elbow.
Demaestri changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lebow fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lebow scores with a kick to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lebow is pressed up against the cage. Demaestri has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lebow down to the mat. Lebow avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Lebow lands an elbow just above Demaestri 's eye.

Lebow lands a hook that snaps the head of Demaestri backwards.


Julian Eduardo Demaestri's cut is getting worse.
Demaestri is looking for a takedown.
Lebow is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Lebow comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Lebow lands a nice elbow.
Demaestri blocks an elbow strike.
Demaestri tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lebow misses with an elbow over the top.
Demaestri looking for a takedown.
Lebow lands an elbow that stopped Demaestri in his tracks for a moment.


Julian Eduardo Demaestri's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Lebow lands an elbow inside that Demaestri shrugs off.


Jeez, Julian Eduardo Demaestri's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Demaestri tries for a takedown. No joy.
Demaestri drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lebow gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lebow lands an elbow just above Demaestri 's eye.


Demaestri is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Julian Eduardo Demaestri's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
