Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frederick Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blood Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Axe has chosen Ahoo Ahoo as his entrance music. Frederick Mayer is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frederick Mayer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Blood Axe! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mayer clinches with his opponent.
Axe looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Mayer displaying some good clinch control by pressing Axe up against the cage. Mayer keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Axe's efforts to push away. Mayer lands a shoulder strike. Mayer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Axe can't fight it off and eventually Mayer manages to take the fight to the floor. Axe looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Axe wants to stand and escape but Mayer is having none of it. Mayer really is a fat lump. Axe being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Frederick Mayer just wasn't active enough. Mayer darts in and clinches Axe up against the cage. Mayer stalling the fight.
Mayer prevents a body shot from Axe. Mayer prevents Axe from breaking the clinch. Axe tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Axe tries to break free but Mayer pushes him back against the cage. Axe misses with a punch to the body.
A frustrated look appears on Axe's face as he tries to break the clinch. Mayer wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mayer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Axe has him pressed against the cage. Axe is trying to force a seperation but Mayer has the dominant position. Mayer manages to break the clinch.
Blood Axe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mayer thumps Axe with a low kick. Axe falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mayer moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mayer pulls Axe into guard.
Axe is fighting to break Mayer's control of his arms but Mayer is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Mayer uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mayer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Axe manages to avoid it. Mayer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Axe quickly recovers to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mayer is controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mayer prevents Axe from standing back up.
Mayer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Mayer sitting and controlling from the half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Frederick Mayer has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Axe misses with a few strikes there.
Mayer with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Axe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sloppy strikes from Axe. Those never looked like landing. Mayer rushes Axe and presses him up against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Axe wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Mayer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mayer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mayer happy to just control the position for now. Mayer has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Axe is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mayer yanks on the arm and Axe is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mayer.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Frederick Mayer! Blood Axe was interviewed post fight and said 'I wasn't knocked out yet'.
