The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nugent shoots for a double leg takedown but Gold sprawls well. He's pushed Nugent's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gold moves to clinch but Nugent breaks away
and Nugent counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Nugent shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nugent was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Gold takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Gold tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nugent swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gold throws a punch but it's blocked by Nugent.

Nugent jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gold walks away with a smile on his face. Nugent gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Nugent lands a big head kick that sends Gold tumbling to the mat! Nugent takes a step backwards and waves Gold back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Liquid Gold has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nugent shoots for a takedown but Gold saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gold is still on wobbly legs! Can Nugent finish him?
