Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brett Dudley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Collin Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: M.O.P.- Cold as ice. Brett Dudley has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brett Dudley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Collin Cox! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cox shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cox prevents Dudley from standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cox in particular looking to stall. Dudley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dudley is staying active underneath Cox, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dudley missing with punches from the bottom.
Cox is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dudley has managed to free his arm - good work. Cox seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Cox working over Dudley with some ground and pound. Dudley looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Dudley wants to control but Cox is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dudley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cox is trying to control. Dudley wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dudley is looking for a sweep. Cox is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cox connects with a nice short shot to Dudley's temple. Cox working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Cox is pressing down on Dudley's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dudley is holding on for now. Cox wants to control but Dudley is keeping him busy. Cox is nestled in close to Dudley, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Cox seems to be working for a kimura but Dudley defends the submission attempt. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dudley tries to roll over but Cox keeps him under control. Dudley wants to control but Cox is keeping busy.
Cox wants to take a breather but Dudley is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dudley tries to get to full guard but Cox has control of the leg. Cox is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dudley is just riding it out for now. Cox eventually gives up the hold. Dudley trying to control but Cox postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dudley on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Cox working over Dudley with some ground and pound. Dudley looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dudley gets full guard. Cox postures up and lands a big shot to Dudley's brow.
Dudley is rocked! Dudley looking for a guillotine here but Cox defends easily.
Oh Dudley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Cox scoring with punches to the head and body. Cox makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cox is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Dudley has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Cox has passed into side control.
Dudley takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Dudley takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Cox scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Dudley is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Cox can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Collin Cox! Post fight, an emotional Collin Cox said 'Thanks to everyone! i couldnt of done this without your support, and the support from my team.'.
