Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Fabio Machado has been cut.
Ray thows a body shot but no joy.
Ray throws a looping overhand right but Machado ducks down to avoid it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ray tries to throw a body punch but Machado avoids it by throwing Ray back against the cage.
Ray is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Machado can't fight it off and eventually Ray manages to take the fight to the floor. Machado looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ray got a little sloppy there for a moment and Machado has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ray has managed to get both his arms back between Machado's legs - danger averted.

Machado has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Machado seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ricky Ray hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Ray moves out of range of the body kick from Machado.

Machado tries to land a front kick but Ray steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ray gets in close and instigates a clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ray creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Machado is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ray gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Machado ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Machado takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Machado fails with an attempt to clinch.
Machado moves in looking to clinch but Ray pushes him off.
Ray closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Machado takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Ray in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Machado looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Ray turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
