Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trent comes to the cage accompanied by Sub Focus - Rock It. Turk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Status Quo- Deeper and Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Trent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Braden Turk! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turk throws a hook but Trent blocks it. Trent steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Turk. Turk lands a slapping body shot.
Turk lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Trent slips a jab from Turk. Trent scoring well with a low kick there.
Turk just misses with a punch to the body.
Trent closes the distance and clinches. Turk misses with a punch to the body.
Trent scores with a nice hook to the head. Turk misses with a body punch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Turk. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Turk lands a body punch in the clinch. Trent misses with some punches.
Trent pushes Turk back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Turk tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Turk turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Trent is trying to control Turk's posture but Turk avoids it. Trent tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Turk wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Turk is looking to take a break and control but Trent is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Turk throwing shots but missing, from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Turk throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Trent dodges the ground and pound from Turk. Turk is looking to take a break and control but Trent is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Turk looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Trent is avoiding damage well.

Trent taking some punishment here, with Turk in his half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ground and pound from Turk. Turk seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Trent looks like he's trying to stand up.

Trent uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turk has time to react. Turk lands a nice leg kick that just misses Trent's sensitive parts. Trent lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Trent throws a leg kick and Turk counters with a right hand to the body. Turk waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Trent. Turk fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Turk counters with a nice uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Turk throws a leg kick which misses Trent's front leg but catches the back leg as Trent tries to avoid it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Turk lands a nice short elbow. Turk throws a strike but Trent avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Turk working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Turk throws a big elbow that misses. Turk with a flurry of punches that miss. Turk missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Turk throws a big elbow that misses. Turk looking to pass the guard. Turk working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Trent's head. Turk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turk trying to control the position from guard on top but Trent is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Turk trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Turk throws a strike but Trent rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Trent slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Turk tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trent is looking to take a break and control but Turk is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Braden Turk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Turk connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Trent works Turk's body with a nice hook. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Turk. Trent lands a leg kick that knocks Turk off balance momentarily. Trent throws a jab but it's blocked by Turk. Trent will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Turk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Trent moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turk misses with a body kick. Trent tests Turk's chin there with a solid looking shot. Trent wants to clinch. Turk digs a good body shot into Trent's ribs. Trent throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A nice leg kick lands there from Turk. Trent tries to land a front kick but Turk steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Turk keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turk thows a body shot but no joy. Turk is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Trent rather than just go for the knockout. Trent swings for the body but Turk moves out of range.
Turk with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ryan Trent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trent is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Turk looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Trent! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Turk lands a decent elbow from side control. Turk landing strikes. Turk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trent keeps working. Turk cracks Trent with a big right hand but Trent just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Turk. Turk works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Turk in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Trent dodges the ground and pound from Turk. Trent takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Ryan Trent has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Turk throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Trent works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Turk trying to control from half guard but Trent is working away. Turk is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Trent defends it well. Turk misses with a head shot. Trent uses the momentum to regain guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turk is looking to work some ground and pound but Trent has wrist control. Braden Turk is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Turk controlling from the top position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Turk won't allow Trent to sweep him here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Turk slips nicely into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Braden Turk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Turk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
