PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arto Bambang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bambang kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Suicidal Tendencies - Nobody Hears. Blaze has chosen Monster by Skillet as his entrance music. Blaze has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Johnny Blaze told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bambang on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Blaze looks winded!

Bambang fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Blaze, pushing him back against the cage.

Bambang is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Blaze defends well.
Bambang has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
