Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Meyers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson has chosen Innersection as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Charlie Meyers has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Charlie Meyers seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Meyers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Wilson! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meyers scores with a nice right hand.
Meyers connects with a nice looking jab.
Wilson misses with a low kick.
Meyers misses with a straight left. Wilson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Meyers sees it coming and avoids it easily. Meyers fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Meyers lands a nice looking body shot.
Wilson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wilson blocks the body kick.
Wilson throws a one two combo.
It looks like Charlie Meyers has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Meyers bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Meyers throws a hook but Wilson avoids it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Meyers. Wilson does a little dance to reset his feet. Lee Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meyers throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wilson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Meyers scores with a jab to the head.
Meyers moves out of range as Wilson strikes. Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Meyers paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Meyerss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Meyers takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wilson loads up on a big right hand but Meyers slips the punch. Meyers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilson moves away. Wilson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Meyers. Wilson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wilson fails to land with a series of punches.
Wilson lands a head shot. Lee Wilson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Meyers checks a leg kick. Meyers throws a hook but Wilson blocks it. Meyers on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wilson. Wilson obviously looking to wear him down.
Wilson misses with a wild body shot. Wilson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Meyers under the eye. A slow jab from Meyers misses its intended target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson misses with a low kick as Meyers jumps back. Wilson looks to throw the jab but Meyers is out of range. Meyers throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Meyers connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wilson. Wilson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wilson avoids the body shot from Meyers.
Meyers moves out of range as Wilson strikes. Meyers keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wilson. Wilson cracks the inside of Meyers's front leg. Wilson scores with a jab to the body. Wilson tries a head kick but it misses.
Meyers feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wilson's calf. Wilson throws a right and a left that Meyers avoids nicely. Wilson tries to clinch but Meyers moves out of range. Meyers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wilson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Meyers is defended easily by Wilson. Wilson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Wilson misses with a straight right. A lazy left from Wilson finds it's target. Meyers lands a jab. Wilson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wilson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wilson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wilson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Wilson gets a clinch. Wilson misses with some punches.
Wilson tries a body shot but Meyers blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson lands with a light punch inside. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wilson misses with a punch to the body.

Wilson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Wilson throws a punch but it's blocked by Meyers. Wilson is trying to maintain a safe position but Meyers gets an underhook and turns Wilson into the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Meyers manages to pull guard.
Meyers looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wilson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Meyers is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Wilson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Charlie Meyers's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wilson throws a body punch but Meyers moves out of range. Wilson lands a glancing blow to the side of Meyers's head. Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wilson misses with a looping left. Wilson misses with a head kick.
Meyers shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wilson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Wilson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Meyers has just dragged him back down to the mat. Wilson gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Wilson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Meyers throws some wild stikes that Wilson manages to avoid easily.
Meyers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Meyers lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meyers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wilson is looking to escape. Meyers scores with a couple of good head shots there.
A big strike lands for Meyers! That's really hurt Wilson and he's turned his back - Meyers keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Meyers jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
