Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan has chosen The Greatest Man That Ever Lived as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Morgan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
No joy there for Morgan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kennedy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kennedy is trying to control. Morgan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Kennedy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Morgan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kennedy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Morgan was covering up waiting for the punch and Kennedy finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kennedy is pushing down on Morgan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Morgan is fighting to maintain full guard but Kennedy has managed to sneak the leg through.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kennedy in particular looking to stall.

Justin Morgan has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Morgan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kennedy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Morgan goes for a double leg but Kennedy avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kennedy continues to drive forward.

Well Kennedy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Jason Kennedy rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
